Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens. As for the RF 24-105 f/4L IS lens, it seemed soft and didn't perform as well as my Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS II. In fact, I'd say it performed closer to my very old 24-105mm f/4L IS with terrible diffraction after f/11.
1. I just had my Rf 24-105 f4 in for repair of a scratch on the lens. The original estimate for the repair was $556.83 with my CPS discount. I bought a Canon CarePak Plus when I bought my R5 and Rf 24-105 f4. Below is my original estimate. Canon Repair estimate without the CarePak+.

In terms of image quality, the RF 24-105 F4 L is arguably the best zoom available with this zoom range. The Sony 24-105 F4 is close and may be better in some respects. The Nikon F-mount equivalent is not close though there is a Z-mount 24-105 on Nikon's roadmap that is likely to be very good when it is eventually released.

None of them is a clear winner from the objective point of view. And either of them can be a clear winner based on what is important for its owner.
My first impressions with RF 24-105mm f2.8 L. 2 weeks ago. 20. Let’s start with the negatives. It’s big. Not as big and heavy as I thought from the pics, but big and heavy anyway. It balances well on my R6mkii though, and since it’s not as thick as, say, 50mm f1.2L, it feels quite nice to use. Tripod collar is not removable, only the foot
Canon RF 24-105mm f2.8L IS USM Z review so far2nd November 2023Written by Gordon Laing. The Canon RF 24-105 f2.8L IS USM Z is a high-end general-purpose zoom with a bright aperture for the EOS R mirrorless system that’s corrected for full-frame bodies. I got my hands-on a pre-production model and in the following video will show you what I
In our review, we state: I think the Canon RF 24-105mm f4 L IS USM is a great lens. Considering that this used to be my bread and butter lens for years when I was a DSLR owner, I’m pleasantly

My RF 24-105 f4 is excellent. No issues. I remember in years past there would often be posts about copy variation with lenses. But today I don't hear about it much. Maybe lens manufacturing has better quality control today. In recent years I have bought the EF 100-400, RF 24-105 f4, RF 100-500, RF 35 f1.4, and they all were excellent.

With the 24-105's tighter FOV, the bokeh balls look the same size at 70mm as the 28-70's, but larger at 105mm. So, download or have a look at the comparisons and let me know what ya think: RF 24-105 f/2.8 vs. 28-70 f/2
Hey, shooting landscapes , what would be the sharpest Fstop for the 24-105 and also for the 24-70 2.8. For the 24-70; I shoot landscapes at F/5.6-F/8 unless there is too much sunlight that shutter speed creates its own diffraction pattern. Re: RF 24-105 vs FE 24-105. I am interested in this topic. OpticalLimits.com is the only web site that provides measures on both lenses, it said Canon is better, sharper at the 24mm corners at F/4. And at 105mm center, Canon is sharper. I have the Sony version, 24mm corners are good at F/5.6. 105mm center is sharp with 42mp camera, but not sure jaCVVRE.
