Thanks to SamaelShih, it has been figured out that TabletInputService forces FarCry3.exe to crash, when enabled. To solve the crash problem: 1) Open Task Manager. 2) Go to Services. 3) Identify TabletInputService (Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service) 4) Stop the service. If I select an option menu with pad on - black screen,pull the battery option screen pops up. Play the game pad turned off - works fine. Turn the pad on whole playing - people /animals / map mission points disappear in front of me. Turn it back off - they reappear. The issue was resolved for me after the 1.5 update.

Windows 10. Core 2 duo 3.33 ghz each. I installed far cry 4 and got black screen on oppening. I scrached google. Found dualcore injector. But that does not work. After 3 days of its release i found a installed copy of game on net it was 23.6 gb and i bownloaded it. Just unkaced it and started the fc4.exe and this pthatic exe did not start.
make sure its setting in there is Fullscreen="1". you can find that file in Documents \ MY games \ far cry 4 \ a sub folder being your Uplay account with a long series of letters and numbers \ gamerprofile.xml. you can edit that file with Notepad. thats where all your in game settings are stored. you can also DELETE that file.
